Alpenglow Luxury Camping offers authentic Alaskan comfort and seclusion, conveniently tucked away just down the road from Glacier View Adventures’ base area. Spend the night in a cozy canvas glamping tent featuring Alaskan decor and a spacious porch with a private deck. Our tents are spread out from one another to giving you a tranquil and private experience. Our luxury common area has everything you need to enjoy your night out camping with board games, refreshments, fire pit with wood provided and covered hang out area with tables.
Enjoy privacy and tranquility in our handmade cedar hot tub.
Complimentary fresh Alaskan coffee and a hot breakfast provide the delicious energy needed for a day of Alaskan adventure.
Our off grid homestead is sustainably run and built providing you with all your necessary amenities while leaving our natural surroundings healthy for you to enjoy the Alaskan outdoors.

Our tents do not have electricity or heat, but you are welcome to charge electronics in our dining area, just a short walk down the path from your tent. In addition to our dining area, this area includes a lush green lawn and campfire area. Nestled in nearby trees is our cedar hot tub with great views of the nearby peaks.
Showers are located next to the hot tub. Each stall can be locked and has a bench and hooks for clothes. Towels, washcloths, and biodegradable soap are provided. Sign up sheet for hot tub at check in allows guests a private soak.
Flushing toilets and hand washing sinks located a short walk from all our tents
No pets or guest cooking allowed.

Where do I check in?
Check-in is located at the Alpenglow parking lot, following signs when pulling in from the highway. There you will be greeted and shown the property. Check-in is from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sorry, but we will not check in guests that arrive later than 10 p.m. Check-out is at 10 a.m.
What is your cancellation policy at Alpenglow Luxury Camping?
The full balance of your reservation is due at the time of booking. Should you change/cancel your reservation within 14 days of arrival you will not receive a refund. Changes and cancellations outside of the 14 days will receive a 100% refund.
Do you allow children at Alpenglow Luxury Camping?
Children 8 years and older are allowed on the property.
Can I cook food for myself at Alpenglow Luxury Camping?
No. We are not a campground and do not have areas for guests to cook food. There is a list of recommended restaurants in the area that can be found on the MICA Guides website.
What do we need to bring for our stay at Alpenglow Luxury Camping?
Warm jacket, layers, toiletries, snacks, and any food that doesn’t need to be cooked is permitted in the dining area. We recommend bringing a cooler if food is brought since we don’t have space for food in our fridge. Woof is provided for the fire pit. All of your linens, towels, soaps, and shampoo are provided. Since we use a solar energy system, please do not plan to use hair dryers.
What temperatures are we to expect at Alpenglow Luxury Camping?
The temperature at Alpenglow Luxury Camping is between 40 and 70°F. The early and late seasons can bring colder temperatures at night, but it warms up during the day.
Are your canvas tents heated?
No. The tents are not equipped with heaters, but we do provide warm blankets and a 750 fill down comforter to make sure you stay warm at night.

If you are making the drive out to Glacier View, why not take full advantage of what the area has to offer? Below are our suggestions for pairing your zipline with other activities in the area, with time for lunch before or after your tour.
Ice Fall Trek
Each Ice Fall Trek will last approximately 4 hours.
- If your trek begins at 9:30 a.m. or 10:30 a.m., start your Zipline Adventure at 3:00 or 5:00 p.m.
- If your trek begins at 11:30 a.m. or 12:30 p.m. , start your Zipline Adventure at 5:00 p.m.
- If your trek begins at 3:30 p.m. or 4:30 p.m, begin your day with a 1 p.m. Zipline Adventure.
Ice Climb and Advanced Trek
Unfortunately, for timing purposes, a Matanuska Glacier Ice Climb or Advanced Trek and Zipline Adventure would need to be split over two days.
